Legal Services of the Hudson Valley Honors 2019 Partners in Justice
Legal Services of the Hudson Valley (LSHV) recently (May 21) honored its 2019 Orange & Sullivan Partners in Justice at a reception at the Newburgh Brewing Company in Newburgh.
Legal Services named Maureen Crush, Esq., a partner in Crush and Varma Law Group P.C., as its 2019 Champion of Justice winner and Kellyann Kostyal-Larrier, Executive Director of Safe Homes of Orange County, as the 2019 Advocate for Justice winner.
Orange and Rockland Utilities, Inc. was one of the event’s sponsors.
Founded in 1967, Legal Services of the Hudson Valley (LSHV) is a not-for-profit law firm whose mission is to help ensure fairness in legal proceedings, so that those who cannot afford an attorney in civil (non-criminal) cases have protection and are afforded their legal rights. There is no charge for these services. Legal Services of the Hudson Valley believes everyone has the right to equal justice regardless of their ability to pay. LSHV advocates for the disabled, seniors, veterans, domestic abuse and crime victims, as well as poor and low income families.
