Instant HVAC Rebates
Upgrading your HVAC system can help you use less energy, stay comfortable year-round, and keep your energy costs under control. Through our Instant HVAC Rebate program, you can get up to $1,400 off when switching to energy-efficient heating and cooling equipment.
To be eligible for the program, you must be a residential Rockland Electric Company customer with a Rockland Electric account number and the owner of the house where the heating/cooling equipment or water heater installation is performed. All Rockland Electric residential customers are eligible. This offer is not valid for new construction or commercial properties.
You must use a Rockland Electric Participating Contractor in order to receive your instant rebate.

Through Rockland Electric’s Clean Heat Program, you can enjoy year-round comfort in your home with the latest heating and cooling technology and find the perfect solution for your space and budget. We provide financial incentives and 0% financing to make air-source, ground-source, and heat pump water heater technology more affordable for you.
Work with a Participating Contractor in the Rockland Electric Clean Heat Program to apply for an eligible heat pump rebate.
Heating Incentives
Option 1 - Clean Heat:
Remove or disable your old fossil fueled heating system and replace it with an air-source or ground source heat pump.

Incremental Adder Incentives
In addition to base incentives, eligible customers can receive incremental "adder" incentives for low-to-moderate income households and for projects that include Whole Home Energy Solutions or multiple carbon-cutting measures within a single home. Contact a Participating Contractor for details.
0% Financing
Rockland Electric customers can take advantage of 0.00% APR fixed monthly payment financing to make their homes more energy efficient. With loan amounts ranging from $2,500 to $25,000, customers can receive 100% financing (net of rebate) and an instant credit decision through a simple, paperless process. The financing is provided by NEIF, a third-party financing company and offers a guaranteed fixed rate and payment for the life of the loan with no lien on the home and no hidden costs. Customers can pay off the loan at any time without penalty. Qualifying HVAC systems have terms of 36, 60, and 84 months, with a 120-month term available for low- to moderate-income households.
