Rockland Electric Company Names Sarah Jones to Regional & Community Affairs Post

Orange and Rockland Utilities, Inc. has named Sarah Jones as a Corporate Affairs Manager on O&R’s Regional & Community Affairs team. Jones is assigned to cover the communities served by O&R’s New Jersey affiliate, Rockland Electric Company, in Bergen County. N.J.

In her new position, Jones, a Paramus resident, will serve as Rockland Electric Company’s primary community contact for public officials in the Bergen County communities of: Allendale, Alpine, Closter, Cresskill, Demarest, Franklin Lakes, Harrington Park, Haworth (part), Mahwah, Montvale, Northvale, Norwood, Oakland, Old Tappan (part), Ramsey, River Vale (part), Rockleigh, Saddle River (part), Upper Saddle River and Wyckoff (part).

Jones will work closely with many of Rockland Electric’s Operating Departments to inform local public officials about the company’s various clean energy and energy efficiency programs as well as the company’s storm resiliency projects.

O&R’s Corporate Affairs Director Tom Brizzolara said, “Sarah is a welcomed addition to our talented team of corporate affairs professionals.”

Jones has earned a master’s degree in criminal justice and a bachelor’s degree in communications from Fairleigh Dickinson University.

Prior to joining O&R, Jones worked at Clarity Software Solutions Inc., where she served as a Client Account Analyst. She has served as a Project Manager leading a team of programmers implementing new web interface applications. Jones also has experience in project planning and has led the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns. Those campaigns leveraged social media platforms as a primary communication tool to enhance visibility.

Jones has excellent communication and interpersonal skills which she honed working for the Morris County Law and Public Safety Division.
