Orange and Rockland Utilities Gets Ready for Summer's Steamy Temperatures

For Orange and Rockland Utilities (O&R), preparing its system for the high electric demand summer air conditioning creates on hot, steamy days represents a year-round job. A good example of that is the service reliability improvement work performed last week by O&R’s Matt Lieval, left, and Keith Krueger, right, at the company’s Ladentown substation in Pomona. Both men are 1st Class Electricians. They are installing a new motor housing as part of O&R’s capital replacement program.
