As the Holidays Approach, O&R Donates $10,000 to Help Feed Its Neighbors
In an effort to make the holiday season a bit brighter for some of its less fortunate neighbors, Orange and Rockland Utilities, Inc. (O&R) is donating a total of $10,000 to 16 food pantries throughout its service area.
That donation will go to provide several thousand meals for families throughout the region. Food pantries, because of their high-volume regional cooperative buying power, can get approximately five times the amount of food that generally can be purchased for one dollar.
