O&R’s Siobhan Keane-Revie Named a 2020 Con Edison Top Award Winner

Siobhan Keane-Revie, a life-long Rockland resident and 12-year Orange & Rockland (O&R) veteran, has received Con Edison’s highest honor, the Living Our Values Award for 2020 (LOV Award).

Consolidated Edison, Inc., O&R’s parent company, created the LOV Award to recognize and honor the values and work ethic of outstanding employees who consistently serve as positive role models in the company and in the community. Keane-Revie, along with five other winners from Con Edison, was selected for this prestigious honor in 2020. Awarding the honor was postponed until this year because of the pandemic.

O&R President and CEO Robert Sanchez said, “Siobhan is well-known at O&R and in the community as a tireless professional, a creative problem solver and a caring, concerned and involved neighbor. We are very proud of her, and that her hard work and dedication have been recognized with this prestigious award.”

Keane-Revie, grew up in Orangeburg, attended local schools and earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in computer information systems from Manhattan College.

She joined Orange & Rockland in 2009 as a Customer Service Representative and steadily advanced to positions of increasingly greater management responsibility and authority.

Keane-Revie is a leader with strong analytical, technical, and interpersonal skills who is recognized for her ability to exceed our customers’ expectations. She is adept at managing large projects, particularly those dealing with information technology.

As dedicated as she is to her work, Keane-Revie also takes an active role in her community. Her passion for helping people shows in her support for two important causes: improving community mental health resources and expanding local veterans’ services.

To help folks access more local mental health programs, Keane-Revie is a proud supporter of NAMI Rockland (National Alliance of Mental Illness). NAMI is the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization, dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness.

To help expand local veterans’ services, Keane-Revie assembled and led a team of employees from O&R and Con Edison in a very successful community fund-raising effort for the Rockland Homes for Heroes, a private, non-for profit 501(c)(3) organization created to provide supportive, affordable, and permanent housing for honorably discharged disabled and displaced veterans.

The event was a resounding success, raising over $11,000 through a Saturday afternoon live music event. Another $5,000 was donated by O&R through its Employee Grants program.
