    Get a free home energy self-assessment with HomeBoost. Borrow your BoostBox kit from a participating library and follow the instructions on the HomeBoost app to get a free personalized energy report, valued at $99. The report includes do-it-yourself improvements and recommendations to help you take advantage of available programs, rebates, and incentives.

    What You'll Need to Get Started:

    • An active Orange & Rockland account.
    • A library card from the Ramapo Catskill Library System.
    • An Android or iPhone smartphone.
    • Details about your home, such as the year it was built, square footage, heating system, and window type, can improve report accuracy but are not required.

    Step 1: Get Your HomeBoost Kit

    Pick up your BoostBox kit from a participating library and download the HomeBoost app.

    Step 2: Complete Your Assessment

    Follow the guided assessment in the HomeBoost app and scan your home using the thermal camera provided in your BoostBox.

    Step 3: Review Your Recommendations

    Receive your personalized energy report with DIY improvements, energy-saving recommendations, and information about available rebates and incentives.
