New Jersey Residential HVAC Rebates

About

New Jersey Rockland Electric residential customers are eligible for instant rebates on a range of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) installations through the Instant HVAC Rebates Program. This page explains the available equipment, minimum energy efficiency requirements, rebate amounts, as well as other financial incentives and financing options.

To qualify for a rebate, you must:

• Be a Rockland Electric residential customer in New Jersey.
• Own the home where the qualifying equipment is being installed.
• Work with a Rockland Electric participating contractor.
• Install the qualifying equipment in an existing residential home (new builds and commercial properties are not eligible).

Interest Free Financing Options

Eligible New Jersey HVAC Midstream Residential customers can finance up to $25,000 in an interest free loan. They'll receive 100% financing (net of any rebate) and an instant credit decision through a simple, paperless process.

Financing options are provided by NEIF, Rockland Electric's third-party financing partner. NEIF offers a guaranteed fixed rate and payment for the life of the loan with no lien on the home and no hidden costs. Customers can pay off the loan at any time without penalty. Qualifying technologies have terms of 36, 60, and 84 months. A 120-month term loan is available for low- to moderate-income households.

Additional Incentives

Eligible New Jersey customers may qualify for additional “add-on” incentives. These are available to low-to moderate-income households, projects that include Whole Home Energy Solutions, and homes completing multiple emissions reduction projects.
