SmartCharge Tech Incentives
Receive cash incentives when you install eligible load management technologies on commercial EV charging stations for public, workplace, multifamily, industrial, and fleet charging.
Incentives
- Incentive levels vary based on the location of your site. Sites within our service territory may receive incentives up to 90% of eligible costs, and sites within a disadvantaged community within our service territory may receive incentives up to 100% of eligible costs.
- Federal tax credits and incentives received from other programs may affect your incentive levels.
Eligibility Requirements
Your EV charging site must:
- Be enrolled in the SmartCharge Commercial and/or on EV Phase-in Rate
- Install eligible load management technology capable of balancing, curtailing, or deferring applicant’s EV charging demand on the electric grid

How to Apply
Use your existing login for our application portal to complete the online application. Depending on your project, you may be prompted to submit:
- Scope of Work
- Invoices, spec sheets, or information regarding your project
- Load management technology information, including the manufacturer and model number*.
- A letter of authorization, if you are applying on behalf of an existing O&R customer but you are not the account holder
- Form W-9
