O&R, Beckerle Lumber, Vista Electric, Spring Valley Rotary Get to Roots of Arbor Day
As of today, O&R’s Certified Arborist Mark Beamish, in cooperation with Beckerle Lumber, Vista Electric and the Spring Valley Rotary, has presented Arbor Day education programs to over 800 third graders in the East Ramapo Central School District.
Those presentations at Grandview, Fleetwood, Hempstead, Summit Park, and this one at Margetts Elementary School, underscore the importance of healthy community tree stock.
As part of the presentation about the importance of trees in everyday life, each third grader received a bookmark and a blue spruce seedling, and each third-grade classroom received an Arbor Day poster.
