Piermont Civic Association's Bob Samuels Summer Concert Series Season Finale Rocks

A beautiful, hot August evening on the Hudson set the stage for the season finale of the Piermont Civic Association’s Bob Samuels Summer Concert Series last night at Flywheel Park in the village.

Music has called the tune many Thursday nights at the park this summer, and last night was no exception. The band Wigjam rocked the night with music by the Grateful Dead and others for a full house of families, friends and neighbors enjoying a soft summer night out.

Piermont Civic Association’s Bob Samuels Summer Concert Series is part of Con Edison’s Arts Al Fresco, an extraordinary series of outdoor arts experiences, held across the five boroughs, and Westchester, Rockland, Orange, and Sullivan counties. Orange & Rockland (O&R), a Con Edison subsidiary, joins in offering major support to the summer-long arts celebration series in O&R’s suburban service area.
