O&R: Emergency Substation Repairs Will Interrupt Electric Service to Parts of Warwick From 11 P.M. Tonight to 6 A.M. Friday
Orange & Rockland (O&R) will be shutting off the power to approximately 1,250 of its electric customers in parts of the Town and Village of Warwick tonight at 11 p.m. so that substation and transmission system technicians can safely make emergency repairs to electrical equipment damage in the Wisner substation in Warwick.
Preparations for the repairs have started so that once the outage is created, repairs can begin and be completed as quickly as possible. O&R plans to restore electric service to all the 1,250 customers affected by approximately 6 a.m. Friday.
