O&R Names Goshen Resident to Community Affairs Post


Orange and Rockland Utilities, Inc. (O&R) has named Kelly P. Rolo as a Regional & Community Affairs Manager covering O&R’s service territory in Sullivan County and the western part of Orange County in New York, and Sussex County in New Jersey.

 

In her new position, Rolo, an Orange County native, will serve as O&R’s primary community contact for the City of Port Jervis and the towns of Mamakating, Forestburgh, Lumberland, Deerpark, Minisink and Greenville. She also will serve as O&R’s contact with the villages of Bloomingburg, Wurtsboro, Unionville and, in New Jersey, the townships of Montague and Vernon.

 

O&R’s Corporate Affairs Director Tom Brizzolara said, “Kelly is a welcomed addition to our talented team of corporate affairs professionals.”

 

Since 2010, Rolo has assumed roles of increasing responsibility in O&R’s Financial and Energy Services Departments where she most recently served as a Senior Analyst. There, she developed work plans, tracked energy savings achieved, managed operational cost control and arranged community outreach events.

 

During her tenure at O&R, Rolo also has served on numerous internal O&R committee’s including leadership roles as the co-chair of the company’s annual United Way campaign and as vice co-chair of the Business Ethics Council.

 

Prior to joining O&R, Rolo gained extensive financial and business experience as a Senior Analyst at Alliance Bernstein, L.P., in White Plains and as a Junior Account Manager at JP Morgan Chase & Company in Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey.

 

Rolo, who lives in Goshen, holds a master’s degree in Business Administration from Mount Saint Mary College and a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from SUNY Oneonta.
