How We Source Our Gas

Our gas comes from all over the country, piped over thousands of miles to your home or business.
Orange and Rockland manages 1,858 miles of gas pipeline and has a 206,000 dekatherms record net firm sendout for gas.
Natural gas is efficient, safe, and reliable. It costs less than heating oil, and is one of the cleanest-burning fuels available.
The Orange and Rockland Natural Gas network is comprised of gas fields in Texas, the Gulf of Mexico, Louisiana and Canada; and surplus storage facilities in Pennsylvania and upstate New York.
