O&R Donates $1,500 to Aid Nyack Center's Before/After-School Programs
O&R has donated $1,500 to help support the work of the Nyack Center’s Before/After School programs.
These programs provide a safe, supervised environment in which almost 150 children K-8th grade can do their homework or otherwise engage in constructive activities aimed at maintaining or improving academic performance, reading comprehension and positive socialization skills.
This donation helps keep costs at a minimum for low-income parents who often work several jobs in order to continue to live and work in Rockland County. The Nyack Center provides the lowest-cost before-and-afterschool care in the Hudson Valley region.
