Rockland Electric's Residential Enhanced Rebate Program
You may be eligible to receive an additional cash rebate from Rockland Electric Company for the purchase and installation
of high-efficiency electric HVAC equipment (central air conditioning, central heat pumps,
geothermal heat pumps) that is already eligible for rebates under the COOLAdvantage program.
To qualify for a rebate, the following conditions must be met:
- The HVAC equipment is purchased between January 1, 2010 and December 31, 2010, and
installed in a residence served by Rockland Electric.
- The HVAC equipment that is purchased qualifies for a rebate under the New Jersey Office of Clean Energy's COOLAdvantage program.
- You can demonstrate that the residence received a home energy audit between January 1, 2010 and December 31,
2010 under the Office of Clean Energy's Home
Performance with ENERGY STAR program. (see
list of independent contractors [pdf] that are qualified to
conduct the audit)

**COOLAdvantage rebates for units purchased on or after April 1, 2010. Rockland Electric
cannot guarantee the COOLAdvantage Program eligibility or rebate payment amounts.
Please confirm COOLAdvantage eligibility and rebate amounts directly with New
Jersey's Clean Energy Program.
Qualifying equipment will receive a rebate from Rockland Electric in addition
to the rebate paid under the COOLAdvantage program. Equipment receiving an incentive
under Tier 3 of the Home Performance with ENERGY STAR program will not qualify for
Rockland Electric's enhanced rebate.
Total rebate amount may not exceed the cost of the equipment. |

the purchase of qualifying energy-efficient equipment and improvements in system sizing and
installation. The program also provides rebates towards the purchase and installation of energy efficient central
