Is there a fee associated with
this payment option?
Yes, the payment agent charges a $3.85
convenience fee. O&R, Rockland Electric and PCL&P do not
receive any portion of this fee.
Why is there a fee associated
with my debit card payment?
The payment agent is charged a fee by
the financial institution for use of their system when transferring
funds. Most merchants embed this fee in the price of their product
or service, however, Orange & Rockland's regulatory-approved
rates do not allow for us to include the fee in your energy bill.
Therefore, the fee is charged by the payment agent accepting the
debit card payment on our behalf.
When will payment be posted to
my account?
To avoid a late payment charge, please
pay before the past due date shown on your bill and allow up to
two business days for payment to be posted to your account.
Can I pay by debit card if I am a
cash-only customer?
Yes, you may pay by debit card even if you're
a cash-only customer.
