This convenient payment option is available 24 hours a day,
seven days a week.
What do I need to pay by credit card?
Have your energy bill, your 10-digit
account number and credit card information handy.
Is there a fee associated with this payment option?
Yes, the payment agent charges a convenience
fee of $3.85 for payments up to $600. (An additional fee of $3.85
will be charged for every additional $600 payment). O&R, Rockland
Electric and PCL&P do not receive any portion of this fee.
Why is there a fee associated
with my credit card payment?
The payment agent is charged a fee by
the credit card provider. Most merchants embed this fee in the
price of their product or service, however, Orange & Rockland's
regulatory-approved rates do not allow for us to include the fee
in your energy bill. Therefore, the fee is charged by the payment
agent accepting the credit card payment on our behalf.
When will payment be posted to my
account?
To avoid a late payment charge, please pay before the past
due date shown on your bill and allow 48 hours for payment to be posted to your account.
