Application Services
Support Specialist - O&R Plans, designs, maintains and utilizes project management tools to facilitate a network topology for the company data network infrastructure. Ensures implementation of the company's environmental, health, and safety program with IR employees as well as outside vendors and consultants.
Systems Manager Supervises all levels of Systems Development personnel. Plans, controls, and directs Systems Development activities, including all phases of system design, programming and implementation. Provides planning, consultation and advisory service on systems development and user departments.
Systems Specialist Directs systems development projects, and plans and monitors the work of Senior Systems Designers and Systems Designers. Plans for the availability of sufficient resources to meet requirements for assigned systems development projects and the follow through to completion of these projects.
Senior System Analyst Plans and directs systems analysis, systems design and programming tasks. Such tasks involve the development of new or substantial modifications to existing data processing application systems and their supporting methods and procedures.
System Analyst Performs analysis on system enhancement requests and prepares specifications from which programs will be written. Performs system testing and problem determinations. Writes computer programs.
CIMS Technical Support

Technology Services
Systems Manager Plans, directs, and coordinates the activities required to provide trouble shooting and technical support services for network server hardware, network operating system software, network topologies, personal computers and wide area network connectivity devices used for corporate enterprise computing, and implement all corporate Information Technology Planning directives and programs in regional locations.
Project Specialist Independently provides on-site troubleshooting, problem diagnosis and resolution, and general support for the Corporate Infrastructure installed at all company locations. Develops or modifies procedures to resolve problems using information technology.
Senior System Analyst With minimal guidance, provides on-site troubleshooting, problem diagnosis and resolution, and general support for the corporate infrastructure installed at all company locations. Develops or modifies procedures to resolve problems using information technology.
System Analyst With some guidance, provides on-site troubleshooting, problem diagnosis and resolution, and general support for the corporate infrastructure installed at all company locations. Develops or modifies procedures to resolve problems using information technology.
Systems Specialist Accountable for providing technical support and systems/security administration for UNIX servers hardware and software. Supports client environment in Windows NT and IP networking. Recommends and monitors local area networks, intelligent workstation standards, Internet/intranet, Help Desk activities and supports client software distribution to desktop. Recommends, configures, installs and maintains local and wide area network equipment including routers and switches.
Systems Specialist Independently provides on-site troubleshooting, problem diagnosis and resolution, and general support for the corporate infrastructure installed at all company locations.
Telecommunications
Systems Manager Responsible for operations and design of the corporate telecommunications infrastructure. The scope of the function shall include direct supervision of Engineering and Operations personnel both designing and maintaining voice communication infrastructure and the corporate communications transmission infrastructure.
Senior System Analyst Provides system design and project management across all aspects of the telecommunications infrastructure. Responsible for providing expertise and guidance in all technical areas. Provides network design, budgetary planning and project management oversight within the Information Resources department.
Systems Specialist Responsible for the analysis and recommendations on the corporate telecommunications infrastructure. The scope of the engineering function shall include the system application, design and development of the company's voice and data communications systems including; communication software, LAN/WAN, PBX, and RF networks.
System Analyst Performs daily functions related to the maintenance and operations of the company's voice, radio and data communications infrastructure. Responsible for assisting in the timely and accurate completion of telecommunication projects and activities.
Protective Equipment Testing
Operating Supervisor Supervises and directs the personnel responsible for inspecting, cleaning, and testing all protective equipment such as line hose, hoods, rubber gloves, rubber sleeves, blankets, etc.
Stores
Manager Responsible for managing the Company's storeroom operations and the forecasting of transmission and distribution inventory requirements.
Operating Supervisor Supervises the Storeroom operations, which includes the ordering, receiving, inspection, inventoried storing and issuing of materials and supplies. Provides financial information regarding inventory values and consumption amounts. Works with Purchasing department to leverage favorable buying opportunities with common suppliers.
Transportation Operations
Operating Supervisor Supervises the maintenance and repair of the corporate fleet. Directs studies and analyses of transportation equipment, applications, and maintenance to optimize fleet performance and user department needs.
Senior Specialist Plans, manages and executes the annual O&R Vehicle Replacement Program. Acts as liasion between CECONY Transportation and O&R vehicle user groups and Truck Committees in producing vehicle engineering specifications. Issues requisitions for O&R vehicle procurements and communicates with vendors to track vehicle deliveries. Manages and issues all necessary capital requests. Maintains O&R's transportation data management system and prepares and analyzes vehicle inventory and fleet maintenance reports.
