their own energy supplier. In fact, because of innovative
programs like PowerSwitch, O&R has been more successful
in assisting its customers to choose an alternate energy
supplier than any other New York utility.
Companies applying for authorization to become an energy
supplier in the Orange & Rockland or Rockland Electric Company service territories
must satisfy certain requirements.
