It
could be you.
It could be you whose life was quickly turned upside down by an emergency.
It could be you who suffers an unexpected medical problem or financial reversal, a household
breakup or a layoff, a tragic accident or any other kind of emergency that could prevent
you from being able to afford to pay your home-heating bill.
Sudden misfortune respects no wealth or position or status. If it's not you, it could be
a friend, a co-worker, a neighbor. It could even be one of your relatives.
Maybe NJ SHARES can help.
That's why the help offered by the New Jersey Statewide Heating Assistance and Referral
for Energy Services (NJ SHARES) is so vitally important.
NJ SHARES provides financial assistance to Rockland Electric Company customers who find
themselves unable to pay their home-heating bills because of emergency conditions. To
learn about who qualifies for this help, read more about NJ SHARES in the Special
Needs & Assistance section of our Web site.
These grants are funded by contributions from thousands of other Rockland Electric Company
customers. The shareholders of Consolidated Edison, Inc., Orange & Rockland's parent
company, also make a sizable contribution to the fund. Rockland Electric Company is a
wholly owned subsidiary of Orange and Rockland Utilities, Inc.
NJ SHARES needs your help.
If you would like to make a tax-deductible donation to NJ SHARES, simply add a dollar to
