Through grants from the Community Investment Program, the company responds to a variety of community needs, with particular emphasis on educational, environmental, cultural and public safety programs.

Grants are awarded to organizations and programs that meet specific guidelines and criteria and fall within the company's corporate contributions budget.

The Community Investment Program is funded by shareholders of O&R's parent company, Consolidated Edison, Inc.
